BIRMAN and RAGDOLL CATTERY OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

It has been quite a journey with our cats. Let us tell you what we mean. We have been breeding 'pet-quality' ragdolls for the last 6 years. We have perfected some of our 'pet-quality' Ragdolls so much that they now stand side by side with the 'show-quality' cats that are setting world standard for the breed. But wait... the story did not begin with that. The story started with us trying to find 'the perfect cat' . To begin with - we went with the Siamese breed. The royal cat, incredibly popular, and majestic. The Siamese cat. The cat with character and queen like personality. After some time passed, about 2 years down the road, we found that it does not fit our lifestyle. Oh well Siamese cats when not happy really show that and if they don't get along with another cat from the beginning... they probably never will! Wait, but what happened next? Next was the holy 'Sphynx' cat. Oh well, the breed surely was expensive. The breed surely was rare. The breed surely was different from all other cats in the universe. But, sphynx cat still did not fit the perfect image of a perfect cat with an outstanding look, rare find, and affectionate personality that our family has always longed for. After a decade of owning these and many other different breeds of cats and trying to find the one that checks all our requirements of a perfect cat - we have found the one. The Sacred Cat of Burma. In the last 4 years, we have been fighting hard to bring Birman cats here on the level of WCF, TICA, and CFA. We did it! They are here! Available to the people of the Pacific Northwest and to the whole county. The best of the best in the region and in the state. But not only do we have 'show-standard' Birmans... Ragdolls have always been a part of our family during this long journey! You will find that we exclusively breed 2 different kinds of cats, yet they are so similar.
